PARISH COUNCILLORS ARE SUMMONED TO ATTEND THE COUNCIL MEETING AT 7.30 PM ON WEDNESDAY 27 NOVEMBER 2024 AT THE CORONATION HALL

1. To accept APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. To receive DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST and REQUESTS FOR DISPENSATION on agenda items.

3. To CO-OPT ONE (1) NEW MEMBER of the parish council

4. To agree MINUTES OF MEETING – 23 October 2024.

5. To receive REPORT ON HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

6. THE MONUMENT – Request from The Battlefields Trust to locate an information panel next to the Monument on parish council-maintained land.

7. To invite views and discussion from LOCAL RESIDENTS

9. PLANNING
9.1 242597 and 242598 Kingsland House, Kingsland, HR6 9SG – Proposed interior alterations to C20 elements, replacement of bathroom suite, repair of windows, repair of C20 lead roof and lantern, demolition of a garden structure.

9.2 242647 Whitley Court, Cobnash, HR6 9QY – Proposed change of use (self-build) of former print design studio & workshop to dwelling (C3) including upgrade of existing package treatment plant.
9.3 242705 Moor House, Kingsland, HR6 9SQ – Proposed works to T1 Conifer – fell as outgrown position by house.
9.4 Planning Decisions by Herefordshire Council – update.

10. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN – Consider report and recommendations from the working group and agree way forward.

11. PLAYGROUND AT CORONATION HALL – To consider erecting a plaque to thank sponsors of the playground for their support and agree next steps.

12. FOOTPATHS
12.1 Mousenatch Bridge: Review options for swing bridge where footpaths KL6A and EY5 meet at the Lugg and provide feedback to Herefordshire Council.
12.2 Report and any receipts for PROW maintenance in the parish and agree way forward.

13. HIGHWAYS/ LENGTHSMAN SCHEME
13.1 Report on lengthsman activity and agree way forward.
13.2 Drainage grant 2024-25, appoint lengthsman to implement the grant funded ditching works and drainage survey, review agreement to vary the lengthsman contract and agree way forward.
13.3 Highway matters to bring to the attention of the highway authority.

16. NOTICEBOARD ON SCHOOL WALL, LONGFORD – Consider options to improve, renovate or replace the noticeboard located on the external wall of the school.

17. Consider consultation on Herefordshire TREE, HEDGEROW AND WOODLAND STRATEGY

18. STANDING ORDERS AND FINANCIAL REGULATIONS – Consider updated documents submitted for adoption and agree way forward.
